This homeowner wanted to enhance the details of her Spanish-revival home and add interest to a front yard which had previously consisted of lawn and a few non-descript shrubs. To mirror the home's gracious interior, we framed the house's striking picture window with strelitzia nicolai (giant bird of paradise). Delicate anigozanthos (kangaroo paw) provide contrast to the home's white walls and will be even more dramatic as they mature.
